[Final Update] The building work at Bethesda Hall is now completed. Please access the hall via the front gate on Worsley Road. New facilities include improved disabled access, large vestibule area, new toilet facilities, cloakroom and storage areas.
[Update] Please note that during the building work, access to the hall is from the side gate on Eccles Road, rather than the front gate on Worsley Road.
[Update] The new estimated date for completion is 31 October 2007. The exterior building work is now complete, and the new partitions are being set up inside, for the new toilets, cloakrooms and storage areas.
We are currently adding an extension to the front of the building at Bethesda Hall. Work commenced on 25 May 2007, expected to conclude in September 2007. The extension is needed to create extra space for new toilet facilities, including a disabled persons' toilet. A fixed ramp will also be installed for improved wheelchair access.
The original planning application is available from the Salford City Council website. Some photographs of the construction site are shown below.
